Wavebuilder products are specifically made for those with curly to extremely curly hair. These type of textured hair have the ability to develop into a stylish wave pattern. Three main Wavebuilder products will help one style and hold a maximum wave result. Wavebuilder pomade, gels, holding cream, and texturizer will keep the style intact. Moreover, the correct use of brushing is a vital maintenance process that needs much attention.

How To Use

IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BEGIN: If you have never used a texturizer before or if you have dyed (or color treated) hair or if your hair is easily damaged, you should do a test on a small area before you begin. Follow instructions below for this test.

For best wave results you should have at least one inch of hair length. All application & rinsing should be done with plastic gloves.

STEP 1. APPLY PROTECTIVE GEL Apply protective gel around hairline ears and back of neck.

STEP 2. APPLICATION OF TEXTURIZING CREAM. Begin application with the back of a large toothed comb at the most resistant part of the hair first. This area is usually at the back of the head. (At this point, begin timing the process according to the time chart below). Apply texturizer cream 1/8 inch from the scalp. Apply quickly and evenly throughout the hair shaft for even distribution and coverage. Do not touch the scalp. Once the cream is evenly spread, comb the cream gently from front to back. Do not exceed total time on chart. For new growth or touch up, follow the instructions above, avoid applying the cream to previously texturized hair.

STEP 3. RINSE AND NEUTRALIZE. After the proper time has passed, rinse texturizing cream thoroughly from all parts of the hair with lukewarm water. Immediately apply all of the neutralizing shampoo to the hair and massage gently, being sure to cover all areas completely. leave in for 2 minutes and then rinse again.

CONDITIONER: Apply a small amount of Wave Shine Finisher, massage into hair and then comb and style as desired
