How To Use

• Massage Castor Oil Tangle Tame Conditioner into hair. Use fingers, a wide-tooth comb, or a paddle brush to gently work through tangles, then rinse. This can occasionally be used in place of shampoo on days when your hair is not super dirty.

Moisture-Treatment and Frizz-Control Routine

• Step 1: Shampoo and Rinse – Start by thoroughly shampooing your hair and rinsing to remove dirt and build-up.
• Step 2: Condition and Detangle – Apply Castor Oil Tangle Tame Conditioner, comb or brush gently through your hair, and rinse to smooth and detangle.
• Step 3: Apply Leave-In Conditioner -Wet hair and apply a leave-in conditioner such as our Castor Oil Curl & Wave Styling Sculptor, Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner, or Coil Kink & Curl Styling Cream, then scrunch for curl definition.
• Step 4: Wring Hair and Dry – Wring out excess water using your fingers, then air dry. If you’re in a hurry, sit under a hooded dryer or use a diffuser. No towel or blow-drying is needed.

Routine for Curly and Wavy Hair

• Step 2: Condition and Detangle – Apply a Mixed Chicks® rinse-out tangle tame conditioner, comb or brush through your hair to detangle, and rinse.
• Step 3: Apply Styling Sculptor – While your hair is wet, apply Mixed Chicks® Curl & Wavy Styling Sculptor. Leave the product in hair for best results.
• Step 4: Air Dry – Allow your hair to air dry naturally, avoiding the use of too much heat to maintain your hair’s natural texture.
• Step 5: Add Shine with Hair Silk – Finish your routine with a touch of hair silk for added shine and a polished look.

Castor Oil moisture treatment Tangle Tame Conditioner is blended with ingredients such as Jojoba, Wild Cherry, Witch Hazel, Rosemary, Safflower Oil, and Castor Oil.  Some companies falsely claim “all-natural” or “organic products.”  We are not claiming that.  Going 100% natural is nearly impossible when making hair care products.  For example, you must have at least some form of preservative to keep products on a shelf without getting mold.  Nevertheless, we believe less is more, so we try to limit the number of chemicals and still keep the products performing their best.
