Gentle Lather Shampoo is a light lather cleanser that will clean your hair without stripping out the moisture. We use only the most gentle cleansing agents available to create a mild, creamy lather that leaves hair clean, soft and shiny.
If you have fine hair that gets weighed down easily, you’ll especially love this cleanser because there are no added oils or moisturizers. It is safe for color-treated hair, protein free and is a great cleanser for straight hair as well!

How To Use
Shake bottle, wet hair well and massage into scalp to create a light lather. Finger comb lather through length of hair and rinse well. You may not get a ton of lather the first time though but your hair will be clean. If you want more lather, repeat the cleansing process. Don't bunch your hair up on the top of your head as this will create tangles. After rinsing, follow with your favorite Jessicurl conditioner.

Gentle Lather FAQ's
What is the difference between Gentle Lather and Hair Cleansing Cream?
Gentle Lather Shampoo is best for fine and/or easily weighed down hair that requires less moisturizing. It has low lather, which prevents the hair from being stripped of natural oils. Compared to Hair Cleansing Cream, it is a stronger cleanser. Hair Cleansing Cream contains glycerin and avocado oil for added moisture.
Will Gentle Lather remove silicones from my hair?
No, Gentle Lather uses gentle cleansing agents which are not strong enough to remove silicones from hair. Jessicurl Clarifying Shampoo is strong enough to remove water soluble silicones.
My shampoo/conditioner are slightly different in color compared to my last bottle, is this normal?
Yes, it is completely normal and safe for use. Our batches can tend to have a slight variance in color due to the use of natural ingredients.
I'm not getting a lot of lather or bubbles during a wash, is that normal?
Yes, our cleansers are low-lather formulated, but rest assured they are working! If you desire more lather, try adding more finger scrubbing motion or you can double cleanse. A good thing to note about our formulas: the more lather you get, the cleaner your hair was to begin with.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
