SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions and safeguards before using your personal trimmer for the first time. Save these instructions for future reference.

1. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.

2. Use this trimmer only for its intended use as described in this manual.

3. Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken blade, as injury may occur.

4. CAUTION: Dispose of used batteries properly. Do not incinerate; batteries may explode if overheated.

BATTERY

BATTERY Your cordless trimmer uses one “AA” battery. To insert battery, turn trimmer upside down and turn bottom counter-clockwise. Insert battery, ensuring the (+) and (–) marks on the battery match those on the trimmer. Turn cover clockwise to replace. To reduce the risk of pulled hairs, replace battery at first sign of weakness.

BEFORE TRIMMING

Remove protective blade cap and turn trimmer on. You are now ready to trim.

TRIMMING HAIR FROM NOSE

Clear nasal passages before you begin. Turn trimmer on and slowly move tip in and out of the nostril to remove excess hair.

Caution: Do not insert tip more than 1/4" into nostril. For best results, make sure the side of the tip is firm against skin. This will reduce the tickling effect that can occur.

TRIMMING HAIR FROM EARS

Clean outer area of ear, and make sure it is free of wax. Pull ear flat to head with one hand, and hold trimmer with the other. Turn trimmer on and move tip around edges of ear to remove hairs extending beyond the outer ear. Then carefully insert tip into outer ear no more than 1/4".

CAUTION: To avoid injury do not put any part of trimmer into inner ear

TRIMMING EYEBROWS

Turn trimmer on and use tip to cut stray eyebrow hair. To shape and trim eyebrow, hold trimmer at an even distance from your head, and move across the eyebrow.

CLEANING YOUR PERSONAL TRIMMER

The tip of your trimmer comes off for easy cleaning. Grasp top of trimmer, and gently turn counter-clockwise. Rinse tip under running water, and shake dry. Turn clockwise to replace. Always put protective blade cap on before storing.

MANUFACTURER’S 60 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY

Andis warrants this product to the original purchaser against defective material or workmanship for five years from purchase date. All implied warranties are also limited to five years. If this Andis product fails to operate properly under normal household use conditions within the warranty period because of defect in workmanship or material, Andis will replace the unit without cost to consumer for parts and labor. The defective product must be returned via parcel post insured or U.P.S., with proof of purchase to any Andis Authorized Service Station or to Andis, 1800 Renaissance Blvd., Sturtevant, WI 53177 USA. Attach a letter describing the nature of the problem. Andis will not be responsible for cost of repairs or alterations made by any other person, agency or company, nor for incidental or consequential damages of any type, or for the use of unauthorized attachments. Some states may not allow exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
